ABOUT THIS CONCERT

Discover Romantic art and music with this interactive gallery tour and performance. In partnership with the Houston Symphony’s Schumann Festival, this fun and informative talk features a live performance of music by Robert Schumann from Houston Symphony musicians. This guided tour explores the themes and ideas of Romanticism as Schumann’s music is paired with works from the Museum’s permanent collection.

ADMISSION AND PARKING:
General admission to the MFAH is free on Thursdays. Parking in the museum’s two garages—one at 5101 Montrose, the other at 1144 Binz—is free for MFAH visitors who enter the museum between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Thursdays.
