Lose yourself in the magical world of The Arabian Nights when the Houston Symphony performs Rimsky-Korsakov’s shimmering showpiece—one of classical music’s most expressive, exciting, and popular works! Featuring sensational French pianist Lise de la Salle, Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 bespeaks its young composer’s innermost thoughts: unable to express his love for conservatory classmate Konstancja Gladkowska in words, he poured it into this tender and exquisite music.
