ABOUT THIS CONCERT

Join us for the Houston Symphony’s Living Room Series, each Friday night at 8 p.m. Your purchase helps support the symphony and provides a private link to view livestream recitals by Houston Symphony musicians and, in some cases, musician members of their household. Performances conclude with Q&A from audience members.

Joan DerHovsepian, associate principal viola, is joined by her husband, Erik Gronfor, a double bassist with the Houston Grand Opera Orchestra, and their daughter Clara, a violinist.

Before the concert: Join us at 7:30 p.m. for a live Prelude discussion with Musical Ambassador Carlos Andrés Botero! A representative from Houston Public Library will join the discussion, sharing Joan DerHovsepian’s reading list for books to keep the family entertained during social distancing, along with information on how you can access Library offerings from your home.
