ABOUT THIS CONCERT

Enjoy music under the stars with this free Houston Symphony performance at Miller Outdoor Theatre. Conductor Vinay Parameswaran leads Beethoven’s beloved Symphony No. 7, and Houston Symphony violinist Sergei Galperin dazzles with performances of Ravel’s crowd-pleasing Tzigane and Bloch’s “Nigun” from Baal Shem. The program also includes Anna Clyne’s This Midnight Hour, inspired by poetry of Charles Baudelaire and Juan Ramón Jiménez.
