Miller Outdoor Theatre: Dvořák & Coleridge-Taylor

About This Concert

Storytelling and adventure take center stage in Korngold’s stirring Overture to Captain Blood. Rising-star violinist Njioma Grevious makes her Houston Symphony debut with Coleridge-Taylor’s lyrical Violin Concerto in G minor. A dazzling virtuoso showpiece for the musicians of the Houston Symphony, Strauss’s Don Juan will set spirits soaring. Dvořák’s joyful Carnival Overture closes the concert.
