About This Concert

Colombian conductor Ana María Patiño-Osorio leads the Houston Symphony in a night of music guaranteed to get you dancing! Travel through the hills of Italy with Mendelssohn’s spirited Symphony No. 4 (“Italian”), and tango with Manuel de Falla’s exuberant Three Dances from El Sombrero de tres picos. Ginastera’s Danzas del Ballet Estancia and Márquez’s showstopping Danzón No. 2 close the performance.
