Mobile Tickets: What to Expect When You Choose Digital Delivery

As part of our commitment to making your concert experience seamless, the Houston Symphony now offers mobile ticket delivery for most performances. If you selected the Mobile Friendly Ticket option during checkout, here’s what you can expect.

After Your Purchase

You’ll immediately receive:

  • A confirmation page on our website
  • A confirmation email with your order details

Please note: Mobile tickets are not sent right after purchase. Instead, they follow a scheduled delivery timeline based on your concert date.

Ticket Delivery Timeline

Your tickets will arrive in two simple steps:

  1. Email Delivery – 48 hours before your concert
     You’ll receive an email with a secure link to access your tickets.
  2. Text Message Reminder – 2 hours before your concert
     A convenient SMS with the same link will arrive, so you can quickly pull up your tickets when you arrive at the hall.

Do I Need an App?

No extra app is required. Our system works through your web browser—simply click the link to view, save, or share your tickets.
If you’d like to add your tickets to a digital wallet, you’ll need the standard apps (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet).

What You Can Do with Mobile Tickets

  • Add to Wallet: Save tickets directly to Apple or Google Wallet.
  • Share Easily: Send tickets to friends or family—each has a unique QR code.
  • Keep Them Together: Access multiple tickets in one place and switch between performances when needed.

Protecting Your Purchase

For your security, tickets are delivered in a locked format. The QR code is hidden until 2 hours before your performance, at which point it becomes visible for scanning.

Even before the code unlocks, you can still share your tickets with friends or family.

Sharing Tickets

One of the biggest advantages of mobile tickets is how easy they are to share.  Here’s how:

  1. Open your ticket email or text message and click the secure link.
  2. Tap the share arrow at the bottom.
  3. Enter your recipient’s contact information and send.

The recipient will receive an email asking them to enter their details. Once completed, the tickets are officially transferred.

You must have more than one ticket in your account for the same concert to share.

Didn’t Receive Your Tickets?

Because we use both email and SMS delivery, missing tickets are rare. However, if you haven’t received them at least 2 hours before the concert:
- Contact our Patron Services Center at patronservices@tickets.houstonsymphony.org with your order confirmation number.
- Our team can quickly locate your order and resend your ticket link.

Tips for a Smooth Experience

To make sure you don’t miss your tickets, add these to your contacts:

- Email: patronservices@tickets.houstonsymphony.org (no-reply address)
- SMS: +1 (862) 343-8395 (no-reply number)

If you can’t find your ticket email, try searching your inbox with:

  • “Houston Symphony Tickets”
  • “Your Mobile Tickets”
  • “2 hours before the concert”

And don’t forget to check your Promotions or Spam folders.

With mobile tickets, arriving at the Symphony has never been easier. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, digital delivery ensures you spend less time searching for tickets and more time enjoying the music.
