HOUSTON (May 15, 2017) – Michael Krajewski will take his final bows as Principal POPS Conductor of the Houston Symphony during the season finale concert, Classic Broadway, at 8 p.m. May 26-27 and 7:30 p.m. May 28 at Jones Hall.
Broadway powerhouse vocalists Lisa Vroman, Doug LaBrecque, and Rachel York will join the orchestra to sing favorites from the Great White Way, including “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” “Over the Rainbow,” “Oklahoma,” and “The Phantom of the Opera.” The Houston Symphony Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Betsy Cook Weber, will also appear on the program, their last performance at Jones Hall before touring Prague June 11-18, 2017.
