 What to Expect: In-Hall Experience

Step 1
1

On a special day, I’ll be going to Jones Hall to see a very special concert by the Houston Symphony.

Step 2
2

When we get there, we’ll park the car in the parking garage and walk into the building together.

Step 3
3

First, we’ll go to the Box Office to collect our tickets. If there’s a line, we’ll wait patiently for our turn.

Step 4
4

Then, we’ll hand our tickets to a person at the entrance and go inside Jones Hall. Once inside, there will be many fun things to explore before the concert starts!

Step 5
5

I can use the map to help find the places I want to visit. Even though I can go anytime, it’s a good idea to use the restroom before the concert begins.

Step 6
6

When the bell rings, it’s time to go inside the theater and find our assigned seats. If we need help, we can always ask someone to guide us.

Step 7
7

When the concert begins, the lights will dim, and the musicians will come on stage. If it feels too loud, I can wear my headphones or take a short break outside the theater.

Step 8
8

At the end of the show, the musicians will bow, the audience will cheer, and the lights will get brighter again.

Step 9
9

Then it’ll be time to walk back to our car and head home — after an amazing concert experience!
