Houston Symphony Announces The Appointment Of Rolanda Gregory To The Post Of Chief Marketing Officer
HOUSTON, TX (December 17, 2025)—
The Houston Symphony today named Rolanda Gregory as its new Chief Marketing Officer beginning on January 5, 2026. Gregory, a Texas native, comes to the Houston Symphony from the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, where she served as Vice President of Marketing. She previously served as Vice President of Marketing for the Memphis Grizzlies NBA franchise, and led digital marketing efforts for SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.
“Rolanda Gregory brings a wealth of marketing experience to the Houston Symphony,” said Gary Ginstling, Executive Director, CEO, and holder of the Margaret Alkek Williams Chair. “Her broad career in marketing leadership spans from the performing arts to the NBA to theme parks. Rolanda’s extensive experience will be invaluable to the Houston Symphony as we continue to grow our audiences and build our brand.”

Gregory will lead the Houston Symphony’s marketing, patron services, and communications teams, stewarding the institution’s brand and supporting $13 million in annual ticket sales. Her responsibilities will include patron services, advertising, public relations, social media, media, creative and branding, and marketing technology.
About Rolanda Gregory
Most recently, Rolanda led marketing strategy at the AT&T Performing Arts Center where she was responsible for advertising, ticket sales, audience development, branding and marketing operations. Previously, as Vice President of Marketing with FedExForum and the Memphis Grizzlies, she led the strategy for brand and creative, social media, advertising and digital marketing, email marketing, marketing operations, marketing analytics and technology, and youth basketball across the Memphis Basketball LLC family of brands – Memphis Grizzlies, FedExForum, Grind City Media, Memphis Hustle and Grizz Gaming. During her tenure with the Grizzlies she was awarded Mentoring Advocate of the Year and was recognized as a Super Women in Business honoree.
Rolanda’s experience in entertainment marketing began at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Orlando, FL where she led the eCommerce & Digital Marketing Systems team. At SeaWorld, she was responsible for partnering with each of the parks to build and implement eCommerce strategies that focused on increasing online ticket and reservation sales, Pass Member loyalty renewals, and merchandise purchases.
Prior to joining SeaWorld, Rolanda was Director, Client Services & Project Management for MangoMOBILE, an Omnicom Group company. At MangoMOBILE, she implemented numerous mobile marketing initiatives, such as app development, mobile games, SMS/MMS messaging, RFID, and IVR campaigns. Her clients included Nickelodeon, AT&T, McDonald’s, CW TV, and Discover Financial. While working there, her team was awarded a Silver Cannes award for a joint project with CW TV for its Gossip Girl show.
Rolanda holds an MBA from Troy State University, and a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Texas. Her undergraduate studies were at the University of Houston, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In conjunction with her educational degrees, Rolanda has maintained her Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.

The Symphony’s educational impact is equally remarkable, with its Harry and Cora Sue Mach Student Concert Series reaching over 50,000 students annually.
