Nature’s Rhapsody Festival: Pines of Rome

About This Concert

Pines of Rome will be performed live in Houston February 5–7, 2027 with the Houston Symphony at Jones Hall.

Journey from sunny Spain to picturesque Italy with spellbinding works steeped in the marvels of nature.

Silent Spring sets the stage, offering a powerful meditation on our relationship with the world around us. Flamenco flair and warm, jasmine-scented breezes saturate the senses as pianist Javier Perianes conjures Nights in the Gardens of Spain.

There is, quite possibly, no more epic way to end a concert than with Respighi’s Pines of Rome: with extra brass, crashing percussion, and an all-out, earth-shattering finale to shake the rafters, live music simply doesn’t get more exciting than this.
