YAC members are afforded exclusive opportunities to participate in musically-focused events that take place not only in Jones Hall, but also in the city’s most sought-after venues, private homes, and social spots. From behind-the-scenes interactions with the musicians of the Houston Symphony to jaw-dropping private performances by world-class virtuosos, the Houston Symphony’s Young Associates Council offers incomparable insight and accessibility to the music and musicians that are shaping the next era of orchestral music.

The Young Associates Council is chaired by Kirby Lodholz.

What We Are:

Annual membership program for young professionals and music lovers aged 45 and under that provides philanthropic support to the Houston Symphony
The YAC’s Steering Committee plans and executes four primary events and drives membership efforts throughout the season
Enables members access to bespoke musical experiences both in Jones Hall and throughout Greater Houston
