From Beethoven 5 and 9 to Return of the Jedi on the big screen and music of Aretha Franklin, there are so many exciting concerts in store! Subscription packages are a great way to get the very most out of the season, offering savings, early access to the best seats, exclusive privileges, and more. Read on for some of the top benefits of joining our subscriber family!
1. Treat yourself to a year of world-class live performances
Each Houston Symphony performance is a chance to experience awe-inspiring masterpieces performed at the highest level, to see the most amazing guest artists the world has to offer, and to enjoy a special night out you’ll remember forever. With a subscription, your concert dates will be set in advance, allowing you to plan ahead and have an entire year of performances to look forward to.
2. Save money
As a thank you for buying multiple concerts, your subscription package includes a built-in discount compared to the equivalent number of single tickets. Prices for our most in-demand performances will rise throughout the season, but you lock in your concerts at the lowest rate.
3. Enjoy your concerts from the best seat…
Subscribers receive exclusive early access to prime seats before they go on sale to the public.
4. …And keep your seat, year after year
When you subscribe to a curated Classical or POPS package of 6 concerts or more, you can sit in the same seat for all of your concerts, and can renew the same seat next season.
5. Plans change? No problem.
If you can’t attend a concert in your series, call our Patron Services Center to exchange into another upcoming performance. Classical subscribers of 5+ concerts, POPS subscribers of 6+ concerts, and Pick Your Own subscribers of 6+ concerts can exchange for no fee, and all other subscribers can exchange for a $5 fee.
6. Support your orchestra
Your subscription purchase is one you can feel good about. In addition to the many benefits for you, subscriptions provide essential financial support to the Symphony, allowing us to continue presenting the world’s greatest guest artists in Houston, helping us bring musical experiences to thousands of children in our community, and so much more.
7. Receive insider presale access
Subscribers receive exclusive presale access to all performances—including blockbuster special concerts—guaranteeing that you always receive the best seats and never miss out on tickets.
8. Buy extra tickets at a discount
