ABOUT THIS CONCERT

Health & Safety Update: To continue to follow social distancing expectations surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Houston Symphony has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of our 2019–20 season, as well as Jones Hall performances scheduled for June. This is an extension of the previously announced cancelation of performances and programs through May 10. Learn more

Whitney Houston had a remarkable singing ability, a powerful voice, and unique delivery that touched our hearts and souls. A singer, actor, producer, and model, Whitney had unmistakable talent. A true diva, the Guinness World Records named Whitney Houston as the most-awarded female act of all-time having sold over 170 million albums, singles and videos worldwide. Vocalist Amanda Cole joins the Houston Symphony to celebrate Whitney’s extraordinary talent with an evening of her biggest hits, including “Saving All My Love,” “How Will I Know?,” “Where Do Broken Hearts Go?” and, of course “I Will Always Love You.”
