Houston Symphony Principal Cellist Brinton Averil Smith takes center stage for Haydn’s lyrical and virtuosic Cello Concerto No. 2, and the Houston Symphony performs Beethoven’s lighthearted Symphony No. 8 and Miguel Farías’s El color del tiempo.
