ABOUT THIS CONCERT
In the first concert of the Houston Symphony’s 2020–21 Classical Series, eight principal musicians join forces for Schubert’s Octet in F Major. Inspired by music of Beethoven, this beloved titan of the chamber music repertoire effuses tender warmth of expression and lyrical beauty from first note to last.
