Celebrate Easter with two glorious expressions of faith by J.S. Bach—first, the festive Easter Oratorio, which joyously recounts the moments after Christ’s resurrection through the eyes of Mary Magdalene, John the Apostle, St. Peter, and Mary Jacobe, then, the brilliantly uplifting Magnificat. Filled with rousing choral refrains and intricately embroidered solo passages that show off each singer’s vocal mastery, this is music to revitalize the mind and restore the spirit.
