Our Community Tickets Program

High School band and orchestra programs with student populations above 70% economically disadvantaged are eligible to register for the Community Tickets Program. This program allows schools to receive offers for free tickets two weeks in advance of concerts when seats are available. Tickets can either be requested in pairs to allow students to sign up individually, and in some cases, by registering for tickets in bulk (up to 20 seats). Availability is limited to 25 high school band/orchestra programs for the season, available as first-come, first-served. To sign up, fill out this form (music educators only).

Virtual Resources

Explore virtual resources designed to inspire high school students to begin or further their involvement in music while working from home or inside the classroom. All video resources are free of charge.

Explore Houston Symphony performances through this series of 10-15-minute videos featuring brief clips from the 2020-21 season’s Live from Jones Hall concerts. Videos also include guided listening prompts from the Symphony’s musicians and extensions for high school band and orchestra students to explore musical concepts on their own.
